A Day in the Life: My Simple Joys and Adventure

Hey there, lovely readers! Today, I want to take you through a day in my life, filled with small adventures, delightful food, and a touch of family bonding. So grab a cup of tea or coffee and join me as we embark on a journey from dawn to dusk.

5:50 AM - Rise and Shine!

The day starts early for me at 5:50 AM. After a refreshing brush and washing my face, I'm ready to kickstart the day. There's something special about the stillness of the morning, isn't there?

Morning Stroll: Gadadharpurcharpara to Dakshinpara

With the sun rising and the world awakening, I decided to go for a leisurely walk. I strolled from Gadadharpurcharpara to Dakshinpara, enjoying the gentle breeze and the beauty of nature.

8:30 AM - Cycling Adventure

The morning continued with a delightful cycling adventure. I pedaled my way to my sister's and aunt's houses. To reach their homes, I had to cross a boat. It took me 10-15 minutes to cross the river, and then just a 2-minute cycle ride to my sister's place in Goalbathan. From there, it was a short 10-minute cycle to Kaipukur, where my aunt lives. The journey was not just about reaching a destination but the moments in between that made it special.

11:00 AM - Back Home

After a morning of exploration, I made it back home around 11:00 AM. The best part? My mom was there, and I didn't have to worry about cooking.

A Delightful Meal: Plantain Flower with Shrimp and Fish

My mom had prepared a mouthwatering meal for lunch – plantain flower with shrimp and fish. It had been a year since I last had this dish. Plantain flower is a nutritious crop that's grown without the use of fertilizers. Just to give you an idea, a 100-gram serving of banana blossom in brine contains calories: 23, protein: 1.5 grams, carbohydrates: 4 grams, fat: 0 grams, fiber: 5.35 grams, and sodium: 308 milligrams. It's not just delicious but healthy too.

1:30 PM - Relaxing Afternoon

After a hearty meal, I took some time to relax, bathed, and worshipped. There's something serene about this afternoon routine.

Indulging in Lakshmi Puja Prasad

In the afternoon, I had the privilege of enjoying the Prasad from a Lakshmi Puja. The spread included garbanzo beans, apples, green vegetables, coconut rice, popcorn, batasa, luchi, semolina fried, and more. It was a treat for the taste buds. Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, sure knows how to delight her devotees.

Evening Time - A Date with My Computer

As the sun began to set, I spent my evening with my trusty computer. It was the perfect time to reflect on the day and make a list of all the things I had done since morning.

It's funny how seemingly ordinary days can turn into extraordinary ones when you take the time to appreciate the small moments and cherish the simple joys in life. From morning walks to family visits and delicious home-cooked meals, it's these everyday experiences that make life truly beautiful. Thanks for joining me on this journey through my day, and I hope it encourages you to find joy in the little things too!
